About Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy harnesses and redirects the power of the mind helping to overcome many different types of problem.

The use of hypnosis is not new, having been used in one form or another for many hundreds of years dating back to the ancient Egyptians who are believed to have used it in their ‘sleep temples’.

Sometimes through a particular trauma or series of traumas, or sometimes through learned or conditioned behaviour the mind can get locked into an undesirable cycle, producing repeating patterns of negative behaviour which can result in problems such as: anxiety, lack of confidence, depression, phobia, compulsion, anger etc.-

Although this behaviour may have been appropriate to the initial situation, if it tends to stay with the person and carries on repeating itself (to the point where it is driving their approach to life), then it may be very difficult for them to break this cycle.

Hypnosis is a very effective tool for helping to change these undesirable cycles.
